Requirements
Ironworkers Local #292 Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) will be accepting applications for
our apprenticeship online at https://form.jotform.com/261204597687064 Applications may be secured at the local office:

between 9:00am – 3:00pm (Eastern time) Monday through Friday. We can try to accommodate anyone who cannot
be here during these hours. Please call 574-288-9033 to schedule an alternate time.
Basic requirements:
A. Drug Testing Required (includes Cannabinoids such as THC & CBD)
B. Turn 18 by June 1, 2026 (if different please contact us with any questions)
C. Able to perform physical construction work.
D. American Citizen or make declaration to become same.
E. Complete high school by June 1 of the current year (provide transcripts), have G.E.D. (provide scores or if actively working towards G.E.D. show proof of enrollment) or have obtained the knowledge through trade school or other sources in the equivalent thereof. Copies of transcript of grades for high school and post-secondary schools are to be obtained by the applicant. (please contact us with any questions)

G. H. Subject to a background check
Veterans should submit DD-214
You may also bring your birth certificate, social security card and high school transcripts or GED scores. These are not required to fill out the application but they will be required at a later date.
